Jean-Christophe Dupont

Real Estate Broker

I was born and raised in Lyon, France from a French father and an Italian mother. In need of change, I moved to Montreal more than 20 years ago. I had been here twice on vacation before and had always loved this city -especially its beautiful, bright winters. What I love most about Montreal is the kindness of its people, the vivacity of its neighborhoods and its size: it is neither too big or too small. I also love its numerous festivals, markets (like Jean Talon!) and its excellent restaurants like Damas, a syrian restaurant, and Le Chien Fumant. You must try them!

After a French scientific baccalaureate and a certificate as a senior stylist and fashion consultant, I worked in fashion and retail for about 20 years, from Jean-Paul Gauthier in Lyon to Les Ailes de la Mode in Montreal. After a while, I felt like there was not enough advancement possibilities for me and decided to change careers. I started in the real estate field in 2003, mainly motivated by my love of human relationships. I like to accompany people in one of the happiest moments of their life: buying a home. I believe a good broker must be honest, easy to work with and good listener.

It is hard for me to pinpoint my favorite experience with a client: all of them are very enriching, regardless of how they went. We learn from our clients and its makes us grow by allowing us to get better with every experience. I particularly appreciate reading the comments that my clients left me after we work together. It’s a confirmation that I made the right decision by changing careers.

I now work as a team with my colleague and great friend Danièle Frégeau. Together, we provide you with a service that meets all of your needs and expectations
