Beauty is loved. Cherished. People have an affinity for all things refined. Finished. Beautifully finished. With a soft, meticulous touch, consciously made with love. We all love designer products and objects. With a modern or classic twist, and with refined, simple, and inspiring features… Words abound when speaking of beauty and its power to inspire. Everyone’s definition and experience of beauty is unique. To each their way of describing it. But we can all agree on one thing: we love to observe, admire, and capture beauty. Owning a beautiful object at home is a source of pride, but also of comfort. A beautiful object will put you in a good mood, inspire you, brighten and enliven your home. And that’s exactly what C’EST BEAU is all about: a unique concept that highlights Quebecois talent.
C’EST BEAU, a concept that makes beauty attainable
C’EST BEAU is a concept conceived by Raphael Ricard: an online platform to help you find locally made and beautifully designed objects. Customers are sure to find something to make them happy among the wide selection of products offered. This concept, both unique and useful, is described by the founder on the cestbeau.co website: “C’est Beau is a curated selection of objects combining design, quality, and fairness. The passionate work of our local craftsmen and designers.”
Locally made objects by Quebecois artisans
Following its online success, the concept naturally evolved with the opening of a brick-and-mortar store on Mont-Royal Avenue in 2017. Just like the website, the store allows customers to discover objects made by Quebecois artisans and designers. Beautiful, durable objects that combine beauty, charm, and strength in a gorgeous store. A store that has been wowing customers with its stunning design and furniture, all thanks to the work of Philip Staszewski and Gabrielle Rousseau. A wide range of choices are available for customers who care about well-made products, and appreciate the dedication and love that artisans and designers devote to their craft. Objects that share the vision of eco-brokers who care about the environment as well as healthy and sustainable living. What’s better than combining artisanal beauty with homes that meet the standards of healthy and sustainable living?
A second store has opened in Rosemont–La-Petite-Patrie!
When it’s beautiful and well-made, it works. And it’s delightful! Customer demand and enthusiasm is in the air. A new boutique will open soon to strengthen the online presence, as well as the store near Mont-Royal Avenue. Located at 300 Beaubien Street, the shop will showcase the general concept by offering the same high-quality products and beautiful designs. A wonderful evolution that demonstrates how people are genuinely engaging with the beauty of the products offered, while also caring that these products are made locally and fairly.
Gift ideas for the holidays
C’EST BEAU is a one-stop shop for great gift ideas. With the holidays quickly approaching, why not pop in at their brick-and-mortar store or visit their website to find unique gift ideas for your loved ones? There’s something for everyone. And since their products are made here, your purchase will also encourage local artisans; a lovely gesture to make everyone happy. To celebrate the holiday season, a contest is being held on our Facebook Page (the winner will be drawn December 20) to win a $100 gift card!
Do you love beautiful objects and designs that are well-made and locally made? Want to explore Quebec’s talent and get some inspiration to fill your home with joy? Or are you simply curious to know more about the concept? Whatever your reasons, you’re always welcome at C’EST BEAU!
