Maurice Nantel strikes again and this time he highlights the Outremont district!

A story of builders,

of visionary

and committed women

building contemporary Quebec,

one idea at a time,

one institution at a time,

one nice house at a time,

nestled on the side of a mountain,

in a place always so coveted,

that we sometimes even love to be envious of

called

OUTREMONT.

The Outremont district is enchanting, whatever the season or the time!

Let yourself be charmed by these parks, these picturesque properties, these charming churches and its commercial arteries,  in a harmony bordering perfection, offering an exceptional quality of life. Rich with its theatre, its library and its prestigious schools, the borough of Outremont is unequivocally a place of high culture. To name but a few, this renowned neighborhood was also home to historic Montrealers Justine Lacoste, to whom we owe the Saint-Justine Hospital and composer Claude Champagne.

Without further ado, discover this mythical district in the space of a video through the pictures of Maurice Nantel, accompanied by archive photos and to the sound of a concerto for flute and harp.
